Testimonials

'Rachel’s art class provides a two-hour haven of relaxation in my busy week. The projects are interesting and absorbing. Sometimes I wonder whether I will enjoy a particular session, like this morning’s collage with vintage photos, but very often they turn out to be the ones I enjoy the most! Today I learnt about composition, learning to layer up the collage before sticking, and the impact of restricted colour palette. Most importantly learning when the piece is finished - when to stop!
For me, it’s the variety of projects that keeps me coming. Rachel explains the background each week, and talks us through the techniques, demonstrating live as she goes. She offers great support, tips and advice through the session, so that you always come away with a piece to be proud of.
Rachel is a great teacher, the atmosphere is relaxed and fun, and I’ve met some lovely people. Thoroughly recommend!'

' I enjoy the laid back happy atmosphere created by Rachel. There is no pressure you can go at your own pace. I've tried lots of different art mediums and learnt so much in a short space of time. I've also very much enjoyed our group art gallery visits into central London.'

'Rachel’s art classes are filled with plenty of activities and resources to choose from. What I like about the classes is that each week Rachel demonstrates different art techniques, and provides comprehensive information and examples of different artists and their artwork, as well as her own. I would recommend the classes to everyone who wants to make artwork in a friendly and positive atmosphere, where you are being encouraged to experiment and express your own unique artistic style.'
